After spending 20+ years and
a wonderful career in pharmaceuticals sales I decided to
change occupations and go into selling real estate.
I grew
up in Indiana in a Purdue University family. I graduated
from Purdue and moved to Chicago for my first job and lived
there for 25 years. There I worked for Searle as a sales
rep, then national trainer. A promotion to management sent
me to Evergreen, Colorado so I uprooted my three sons (two
in high school) and off we went.
Searle soon became
Pharmacia and finally in 2003 is was taken over by Pfizer.
This lead me to move to Montana and take a job with Johnson
& Johnson where I traveled the entire state for three
years calling on physicians, hospitals and many Indian
reservations.
Tired of the travel, I decided to retire and
stay in this beautiful state. No longer needing to be near
an airport I moved (for the seventh time) down to the
Bitterroot valley. The valley has offered me a wealth of
public lands, creeks and valleys to hike and explore with my
three dogs.
The experiences I had selling
pharmaceuticals and more, especially managing sales reps
over all of Montana, has given me a perfect platform to sell
real estate. Needless to say I am familiar with the
struggles of buying and selling and for sure moving (even
with teenagers). I also know what I do and don't like
REALTORS.
I love looking for homes and
working with people to find the perfect home for their
family. I also have an eye for decorating and looking beyond
the "outdated kitchen: when getting a home ready to sell.
Having sold pharmaceuticals to a variety of customers and
working with many different personalities, selling homes was
an easy transition.
If you need help preparing to
sell your house, staging, marketing your home or looking for
your dream home, give me a call.
